Barrie's Books
During his time as a reporter and newspaper editor, Barrie has appeared regularly on local radio as well as contributing to BBC News in the UK. He has also written popular travel information and guides under the name of John Fairweather.
After several years as editor of a successful English language newspaper in the Canary Islands, Barrie decided to take some time out to write a series of novels based upon the many incidents that he has experienced whilst working in schools, as well as about his new life in Spain. He continues to enjoy life in the sun as a freelance writer, columnist and author.
